These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the VitalALERT™ website, products, and 24/7 personal emergency response monitoring services. By using our website or purchasing a VitalALERT™ product, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. About VitalALERT™
VitalALERT™ products are provided by VitalCALL Australia, part of the Chubb group. We supply personal emergency response devices and connect users to an 24/7 Australian-based professional monitoring centre.
2. Use of the website
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use of the website. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or interfere with the website's operation.
3. Orders and payment
All orders placed through our website are subject to acceptance and availability. Prices are displayed in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. Payment must be made in full at the time of order. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.
4. Monitoring service
Your VitalALERT™ device includes 12 months 24/7 Australian-based professional monitoring from the date of activation. The monitoring service relies on mobile network coverage, GPS availability, and a charged device. While we make every reasonable effort to ensure a fast and reliable response, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service in all circumstances.
5. Warranty and returns
VitalALERT™ devices come with a manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Please contact us within 30 days of purchase to arrange a return or replacement for any faulty product.
6. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images and software, is the property of VitalCALL Australia or its licensors and is protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, VitalCALL Australia is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of our website, products or services. Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights or remedies available to you under the Australian Consumer Law.
